Kirk Lawrence
Clinician - PTA
It was during his final two years on the wrestling team for Long Island's Freeport High School that Kirk's career interests turned to physical therapy. Not because of injury, but from a curiosity about the physiology of exercise.
Kirk graduated from Nassau Community College in 1990. He has practiced physical therapy in an outpatient orthopedic setting since then, as well as per diem work in skilled nursing facilities. As a recently new resident to Brooklyn Heights, Kirk finds great fulfillment in serving his immediate community.
Kirk is an avid long-distance cyclist who participates in many organized rides, including the NYC Century Ride. In the winter months, snowboarding is his sport of choice. He is a strong advocate of exercise as an all-important facet of one's lifestyle.
