The Survey Says!
The Achilles Track Club is conducting an online survey to gather information about the injuries experienced by its athletes, the kind of training being done, and the effects of using particular types of assistive devices. With this information, we will develop education and training materials that will help to prevent injuries commonly associated with road racing.
We need your help. The survey should not take more than 15-20 minutes to complete, and your identity will remain completely anonymous. How it all began...
Check out this great video clip of the 1976 NYC Marathon, featuring Dick Traum (in the last half of this 2 minute clip). Dick was the FIRST amputee to run the NYC Marathon, and that experience inspired Dick to create the Achilles Track Club in 1983!
